This research aims to study the Atbara bridge, and through this study, we find that the lower parts of the bridge, the pivot chairs and the bases have a dump due to the accumulation of dirt and dust, so the cleaning process must be done first and then paint, and we find that the path of the road is in the direction of the Damer. Atbara there are transverse cracks caused by poor cohesion of the paving materials in the joints areas. They are treated by cleaning the cracks and injecting them with epoxy, and we find ٲ that it does not contain pits What is in the Atbara Damer track, we find that there are transverse cracks caused by increased loads and ٳ the use of bad joints that are treated by drilling The cracks are filled and the injection process is carried out, and we find that there are deep pits caused by
insufficient pavement thickness, and the use of a poor-quality mixture that is treated by scraping the sides of the excavation and maintaining the flanges and sheets of iron, then the patchwork process is carried out. The main road is in the direction of the dumb Atbara and the inclined parts of the gable need maintenance, and the rail track is good and does not need maintenance. We find that the protection sides at the entrance to the bridge from towards the Damer Atbara need to be strengthened and maintained, and they are not replaced with new parts and reinforced with welding of the damaged parts, and we find the cause of the lighting problem. Using poor lamps So, high quality lamps must be used and placed at close distances until we get adequate lighting. A periodic examination and examination must be carried out on the old one so that the defects are treated so as not to affect the life of the old of the bridge.
