Abstract
This research aims to design and implement a metal detector with magnetic
inductive pulse technology to secure vital areas from terrorist and theft
operations using the Arduino unit, coil, capacitor and bell) and send to A0, a light
emitter and a screen where the Arduino generates short strong pulses through
the coil port. Each of these pulses is a field magnetically. When the detector is
above or near the metallic object , the pulse produces a magnetic field towards
the body and when it ends, the field polarity is reversed and the field suddenly
fades, causing the reflex pulse that is used to charge the capacitor to the point
where the capacitor voltage is read by using A1 then the voltage can be read by
the analog port as an output. And set it at a low level A1 after reading the
voltage, the capacitor is quickly discharged by making the inlet. This process
takes about 200 microseconds to complete, and then it is transferred to the
photodiode and the screen alerts to the presence of metal close to the coil.
When the device is turned on away from any metal, the bell and the duo are in
a stuck state If the device is operating near any metal, the metal detector starts
printing on the screen (Metal found)
