Item Commonness of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome amongst Nominated Cluster of Sudanese Housewives with Fertility Problems(جامعة الشيخ عبدالله البدري, 2020-12-15) Mohammed A. Gafoor A. Gadir; Mohammed Omer Mohammed Hussein; Mosab Nouraldein Mohammed HamadAbstract: Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), also known as the Stein-Leventhal syndrome, is one of the most prevalent endocrinopathies amid women of reproductive age. Hyperinsulinemia in combination with pancreatic beta cell dysfunction consequences in an augmented risk of numerous diseases, including type 2 diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, endothelial dysfunction, atherosclerosis and cardiovascular diseases. Insulin also encourages the theca cells of the ovary to make excessive testosterone, which is responsible for the clinical manifestations of hyperandrogenism, 200 Sudanese housewives with fertility problems joined in the study, 39.5% of them exhibited polycystic ovarian syndrome. Further studies are required with large sample size.Item Correlation between antimullerian hormone level before and after laparoscopic ovarian autologous PRP injection(جامعة الشيخ عبدالله البدري, 2019-11-13) Hiba Osman Seid Ahmed Mohammed; Rayan Khalid Mohammed Ahmed; Mohammed Abdelgafoor Abdelgadir Salih; Mohammed Omer Mohammed Hussein; Azhar Tag Aldin; Mosab Nouraldein Mohammed Hamad; BadrEldin KaramAlla EljackABSTRACT Aim: Randomized clinical trial aimed to know the possible correlation between laparoscopic ovarian autologous PRP injection and AMH level. Patients and Methods: Fifty-one Sudanese subfertile women attended to Banoon Fertility Center, Khartoum, Sudan, during the period from January 2018- June 2019 selected randomly and exposed to laparoscopic ovarian autologous PRP injection. AMH level of every participant measured before and after 3 months of administration of PRP to the ovaries. Results and Conclusion: We measured size of correlation between AMH level pre and post exposure of ovaries to PRP, AMH level increased in 33.3% (17) of the participants after PRP injection. Size of correlation = 0.64 which represent moderate positive correlation. The p-value was < .00001. The result is significant at p < .05. Further studies must be carried on with large sample size and involving different ethnic group. Justification: There is inadequate data about the percentage of women with primary infertility disorder attended to infertility and assisted reproduction centers nationally and globally. Objectives: To recognize the prevalence of primary infertility among Sudanese women with infertility disorders attended to Banoon Center of obstetrics and gynecology and assisted reproduction, Khartoum, Sudan. Material and Method: Hospital based –descriptive cross sectional study, 143 Sudanese women attended to Banoon center of obstetrics and gynecology and assisted reproduction were involved in the study. Result: The primary infertile women between the participants were 60.84%. Conclusion: Additional studies must be done with large sample size and at different infertility health care centers.
