    Immediate postoperative complications of General surgery in atbara teaching hospital from June 2018

    Abstract Background: common surgery can be follow by postoperative complications in all ages. This study is cross sectional study in Atbara teaching hospital male and female surgical ward include 45 post- operative patients. objectives: The aim of this study is to investigate the common causes of postoperative complications in Atbara hospital in period (June July 2018). The result of this study reflect 22,2% of postoperative complication was hypertension, while 6,6% was tachypnea, moderate pain, while 46,7% urine retention. The study concluded the high blood pressure, tachypnea, pain and low urine out put the most common postoperative complications in Atbara hospital. Recommendations recommended further studies must be done, urinary catheter should be inserted.
